OMV began commercial operation with Samsun Natural Gas Power plant in 2013 which has the production capacity to meet about 3 percent of Turkey’s energy demand. But some reasons OMV Samsun Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, is one of the lowest emissions and the most efficient power plant in Turkey, with its advanced technology, it generates approximately 7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and makes a great contribution to the electricity of the region and the country.
